EWC Downloads
|
EWC is primarily a service organization. As a byproduct
of our services, however, we sometimes develop products that
may be of general use. Sometimes those products may be offered
to the public without cost. On occasion we may produce a
product that we sell to defray our production costs. The
files available here are such products. To obtain more information
and downloading access, simply click on one of the items in
the "Downloads" menu on the left or check out the catalogue below.

Generating Multi-Column HTML Tables: makecols
|
|
It is at least arduous, and sometimes difficult, to write "newspaper" style
multi-columned formatted HTML pages. In Navigator 3.0 Netscape introduced the
<MULTICOL> HTML tag in order develop HTML documents formatted in
"newspaper" style columns. Unfortunately MULTICOL has never become part of the
HTML vocabulary. Makecols is an easily used console
program that will generate an HTML code fragment specifying
a multi-columned format.

Date and Time Function/Procedure Library
|
|
Over the years we have assembled a number of date manipulation routines that we
have collected into a Win32 dll. The package consists of the dll, the source
code for the dll (in PowerBasic, compilable with pbdll5 or later), an include
file containing the declare statements for the PowerBasic 32-bit compilers
pbdll and pbcc, documentation in pdf format, and a sample program.
Contact us
for purchasing information. The download is a PDF file compressed in ZIP
format.

CGI Development and Products: Calendar.exe
|
|
An example of a CGI program that currently runs under Windows NT/2000 servers
is our calendar (cal.exe) display program. There are two primary displays:
full-year mode and single month mode. Cal.exe may also be accessed as a Server
Side Include (SSI) . This allows full integration of the calendar, in either
mode, into existing web pages. The Calendar CGI is currently only available for
Windows-based servers, but a Unix version will soon be available.
